Emvital® Laser Therapy in Arvada, CO
Advanced hands-free laser treatment for pain, inflammation & muscle relief
At Regen Revolution, we offer Emvital® laser therapy — a next-generation, non-invasive treatment designed to address pain, inflammation, and musculoskeletal discomfort without surgery or injections. Powered by proprietary TriHIL™ technology, Emvital delivers high-intensity 1064 nm near-infrared laser energy deep into tissue through a fully hands-free applicator, providing targeted relief and supporting the body’s natural healing processes.
A minimum of four treatment sessions is typically recommended, spaced approximately 2–10 days apart. Most sessions last between 4 and 30 minutes, require no anesthesia, and involve no recovery time — patients can return to normal daily activities immediately following each visit.
What is Emvital®?
Emvital® is a Class 4 high-intensity laser therapy system developed by BTL Industries. It combines a 1064 nm near-infrared wavelength with up to 30 Watts of average power in a single hands-free platform — making it one of the most powerful therapeutic laser systems available in clinical practice today.
Unlike earlier low-level laser devices, which often lack the energy output to produce meaningful effects in deeper tissue, Emvital is engineered to penetrate deeply into musculoskeletal structures, where pain, inflammation, and dysfunction originate. Clinical studies have demonstrated significant patient outcomes in as few as four treatments.
How Emvital® works: the science
TriHIL™ technology
Emvital’s hands-free applicator integrates three core components into a single platform: an ultrasonic distance sensor that ensures consistent energy delivery, an infrared thermal camera that monitors tissue temperature in real time, and a dynamic laser emission system that adjusts automatically based on selected treatment parameters. Together, these features reduce operator variability and support precise, comfortable, reproducible treatments across a broad range of patients and conditions.
Photomechanical effect — rapid pain relief
In pulsed and superpulsed emission modes, Emvital generates photomechanical waves within tissue. These waves activate sensory nerve receptors, sending fast-conducting signals toward the spinal cord ahead of slower pain signals. This mechanism — described by Gate Control Theory — temporarily interrupts pain perception at a neurological level, producing rapid, localized pain relief in the treatment area.
Biostimulation — accelerated healing
At the cellular level, laser energy is absorbed primarily by cytochrome c oxidase in the mitochondria. This process increases ATP production, improves cellular energy availability, and promotes tissue regeneration and repair. Emvital’s deep tissue penetration enables this biostimulation to occur at the levels where chronic degeneration and injury actually reside.
Anti-inflammatory effect
Emvital laser energy reduces the concentration of pro-inflammatory cytokines in affected tissue, decreases vascular permeability to limit swelling, and moderates the infiltration of inflammatory immune cells into injured areas. Research using histological analysis has shown that adding Emvital to treatment results in up to 60% lower inflammatory cell counts immediately post-treatment compared to treatment without laser, with resolution occurring up to 3 times faster by Day 2.
Thermic effect — circulation & muscle relaxation
The 1064 nm wavelength promotes vasodilation through stimulation of nitric oxide production in blood vessel walls, increasing local circulation and oxygen delivery to healing tissue. Improved circulation also assists in clearing the metabolic byproducts associated with muscle spasms. Additionally, Emvital reduces sarcoplasmic reticulum activity in muscle fibers, helping to relax overactive muscle groups and relieve musculoskeletal tension.
Dynamic emission modes
Emvital features three software-driven emission modes, each calibrated for different stages and types of conditions:
Gentle mode
Balance mode
Advance mode
What can Emvital® treat?
Emvital laser therapy is appropriate for a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, including:
- Back pain and discomfort
- Neck pain and stiffness
- Joint pain and inflammation (knee, hip, shoulder, wrist, ankle)
- TMJ pain and jaw dysfunction
- Arthritis and degenerative joint conditions
- Tendon and ligament injuries
- Muscle spasms and chronic muscle tension
- Post-procedure inflammation and recovery support
Clinical evidence
Back pain & discomfort
A clinical study evaluating Emvital in 19 patients with back pain (ages 22–82) across four 30-minute treatments found that 66.7% of patients reported reduced perceived pain after completing the treatment series. 73.7% showed improved scores on the Quebec Back Pain Disability Scale (QBPDS), and 57.9% demonstrated improvement on the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI). Nearly half of patients continued to report reduced pain during movement and bending at their 3-month follow-up.
Study conducted at Royal Spine Surgery (Scottsdale, AZ), Aria Integrative Health (Denver, CO), and River Oaks Hospital & Clinics (Houston, TX).
Facial pain & TMJ discomfort
A clinical study of 31 patients receiving four 20-minute Emvital treatments for temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain found that perceived pain scores dropped from 4.4 at baseline to 1.5 at the 3-month follow-up, as measured by the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). 96.8% of participants rated the treatment as comfortable, 83.9% reported improved TMD Disability Index scores, and 75% experienced an increase in maximum lateral range of motion after the final treatment. No serious adverse events were reported.
Study conducted at Chandra Smile Designs (Ocala, FL), My Dental Touch Wellness Studio (Leesburg, FL), and Steamboat Face and Body (Steamboat Springs, CO).
Inflammation resolution
A preclinical study using histological analysis compared inflammatory response following RF microneedling alone versus RF microneedling combined with Emvital laser. Tissue treated with Emvital showed up to 60% lower inflammatory cell counts immediately post-treatment and up to 3 times faster resolution of inflammation by Day 2, as measured by neutrophil and lymphocyte counts using H&E staining.
Research conducted at the Veterinary Research Institute, Brno, Czech Republic.
Is Emvital® right for you?
Emvital therapy may not be appropriate for all patients. Treatment is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, have electronic implants (such as pacemakers or defibrillators) near the treatment area, have a history of cancer or active malignancy in the treatment area, or have certain other medical conditions. Your provider will review your medical history, current medications, and health status prior to treatment to determine whether Emvital is appropriate for you.
