During your initial visit, you can expect
Exam & Consultation
Your initial visit is designed to gather the information about what is going on with your problem area to determine if you are a candidate for our non-surgical and drug-free treatments. You will meet with both a medical provider and chiropractic doctor, and they each will conduct a thorough examination of your problem area through various types of diagnostic testing.
Imaging
During your first appointment our providers may want to see X-ray or ultrasound imaging to get a clear picture of what is going on in your problem area(s). We have the technology to perform this imaging within our office. This will give our medical providers a chance to understand how to safely and efficiently treat your condition in the best way.
Initial Process for New Patients
At the report of findings appointment your case manager will review the providers’ findings, diagnosis, comprehensive treatment plan, and what your insurance will help with. They will also discuss financial options that may be available to you with any out of pocket costs.
FAQ’s
How long is the initial appointment?
Depending on your condition the initial consultation, exam, and x-rays will take about an hour to an hour and a half. The new patient coordinator will be able to determine this during the 15 minute phone consultation.
What do I wear to the inital appointment?
It is always ideal to dress comfortably, however, no specific attire is necessary.
Will I get treatment at my first appointment?
Since we do not want to make your condition worse, and want to know exactly what is causing your discomfort and pain, we usually do not do treatment at your first visit. However, we do have options for same day treatment that the new patient coordinator can discuss with you during the 15 minute phone consultation.
What does my insurance cover?
Once we do an exam and our medical providers can review the x-rays, consultation and exam notes, we can determine what your insurance will cover. Your case manager will discuss this during the report of findings appointment and can answer any questions you may have.
Will there be any out of pocket costs?
Your case manager will discuss any out of pocket costs and financial options that you may qualify for.
Can I bring someone with me to my consultation and report of findings appointment?
Yes, we actually encourage you to bring a significant other, or family member!

Patient forms
Each patient will fill out our welcome packet that will include a medical history of the patient. Our patients can fill this paperwork out online, or they can come in 15-20 minutes early to fill it out in our office. There is also a printable version of the patient forms that you can download here.
